Board

The Board of a non-profit represents the community served by the organization, as well as the wider community.  Without the perspective of the Board, the organization operates in an echo chamber.  Coming Home Connection is indebted to the committed service of our all-volunteer Board of Directors.

Janet M. Swinton

President

Janet has put in a career in health services and non-profit organizational development, including directing an Adult Day Care Center and a hospital foundation.  She has both family and professional experience with hospice.

Jeff Sand

Treasurer

Jeff is a portfolio and relationship manager with the Rikoon Group. He is a certified financial planner (CFP) with a BA from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is also a musician, vocalist and guitarist, and performs intermittently at clubs and special events. He is married to Barbara, and has two stepsons, Naijo and Ian, and one daughter, Stephanie.

Jacqueline Berg

Secretary

Jackie is a founding partner with the firm of Berg, Jones & Walsh, PA.  She has served as Assistant General Counsel with New Mexico’s Aging and Long-Term Services Department; NM Counsel to the Long-Term Care State Ombudsman; Assistant General Counsel with NM Dept. of Health, Office of General Counsel, Santa Fe, NM; Law Clerk with the Dept. of Health, Office of General Counsel, Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM; Tutor for Civil Procedure, UNM Accessibility Services, Alb., NM; member of the Estate Planning Council; presenter at the 2016 Probate Institute; and on the Santa Fe Estate Planning Council Board of Directors, 2018 – 2020.

Ehrland Truitt, DOM

Vice Chair

Ehrland Truitt graduated from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine and completed a three year apprenticeship in the Kototama system of Japanese Acupuncture at that time.  He is a former clinical supervisor and teacher of Five Element Acupuncture at the International Institute of Chinese medicine.  Ehrland is the Executive Director and Founder of the High Desert Hari Society.

Sierra Logan, LMSW

Sierra is currently serving as a navigator with the H.U.G.S. program at CHRISTUS St. Vincent.  In this role, she works with individuals who have co-occurring behavioral health and addiction issues, and with those who are disproportionately affected by the social determinants of health.  Sierra developed our Health Navigation program while interning at Coming Home Connection for two years. She is a certified End of Life Doula, and has extensive volunteer experience providing case management and psychosocial support to complex populations with the Santa Fe Mutual Aid Network.
